Avatech featured on Wamda, ArabNet, Webrazzi
During the past few weeks Avatech and the topic of Accelerators in Iran caught lot’s of attention. We are happy that Avatech got featured on various news platforms.
Wamda is the leading news platform for tech startups in the middle east. In their article they focused on the emerging need for startup accelerators in Iran. Quoting Mohsen Malayeri, one of Avatechs Co-Founders, they say:
“There’s a huge community becoming so interested in startups,” on both the entrepreneur and investor sides, and on the national and international levels. Stories are now happening in Iran.” Now is the time for a place where entrepreneurs and startups can come and get support, opportunities, and that can help create a dealflow for investors.”
Arabnet also wrote an article about Avatech, explaining the model and benefits as well as the current status of startups in Iran.
Avatech is a new accelerator for seed-stage digital startups, they are expecting 150 applications, out of which 10 teams will be admitted to the acceleration program where they will be offered seed funding, a co-working space, advice from expert European mentors, outreach from Avatech’s partners, etc…
Webrazzi wrote a great article in turkish, spreading the word about Avatech also to the turkish speaking world.
