Last part of our interviews with cycle 3 teams is done with Soheil Khanmohammadi who works on Limanza with his co-founder, Sina Hamzezadeh. Limanza is a platform that enables Iranian fashion designers to promote and sell their products to customers.

Avatech: What is Limanza?

Soheil: Limanza is a platform that introduces and sells the products of Iranian clothes and accessory designers. Limanza sets out to use services like interviewing each designer, using designer’s feedback on each product, etc. to provide an opportunity for them to introduce themselves to Iranian and international customers.

Avatech: Tell us about your team and the thing that led you to believe you could launch this startup.

Soheil: I’m a graduate of IT engineering from Qazvin Islamic Azad University and have been interested in startup events. Sina is a student of computer programming and has years of experience in programming for different companies.

Avatech: What value does Limanza create?

Soheil: Being in touch with Iran’s best clothes and accessory designers and purchasing their designs in a single platform is the biggest value created by Limanza.

Avatech:How do you see the future for yourself and your startup? How do you plan for the future?

Soheil: Limanza’s ultimate goal, is to provide a platform to improve Iran’s fashion industry and we will not withhold and effort to reach that.

Avatech: What challenges are on your way to grow?

Soheil: One of the biggest challenges is the novelty of online clothes shopping in Iran. A lot of people still prefer to touch the clothes from up close before purchasing it. But we believe that with the variety of online apparel purchasing services, gradually people’s experience will change.

Avatech: How did you get to know Avatech?

Soheil: Our initial introduction to Avatech was via friends who were part of previous cycles. We were provided the chance to get to know Avatech and then via the website and attending Avatech events, we became aware of Avatech’s acceleration services to startups.

Avatech: How has your experience been with Avatech?

Soheil: Launching a startup has always been challenging but having a companion like Avatech has eased the challenges tremendously and paved the way success.

Avatech: What keeps you motivated during though moments?

Soheil: Having the experience and motivation to reach our shared dreams.

Avatech: What has been your biggest success so far?

Soheil: Gaining trust and gathering Iran’s best fashion designers and introducing them to the Limanza audience.

Avatech: what advice do you have for those wanting to lunch their own startup?

Soheil: They must know that not everything is supposed to be provided to lunch a startup and it’s not supposed to be obstacle-free. For a startup the most important factor is having a strong team that works together through tough times. With a good team any goal is attainable.

Avatech: What is you favorite startup book?

Soheil: Lean Startup

Avatech: What is your favorite productivity tool?

Soheil: Spotify and Google Analytics.

Avatech: What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned since starting your work?

Soheil: That having a good idea is not enough to create a good startup. Having a team capable of turning that idea into reality is more important.
