We almost can’t believe we are already in week 10 of the first cycle program, and Demo Day is just around the corner. On one hand the first two months (Pre-Acceleration) feel like they fly by, on the other it is almost unbelievable it isn’t longer when you consider how much has happened.
In the past 10 weeks, the startups have worked immensely hard, and it is paying off. With only a few week left, it is crunch time, and they know it. It always amazes us how much can be accomplished when you are passionate and driven. The long hours and the shared experiences lead to a unique bond not only among founders, but also among the startups. At this point, ideas; help; and advice is flying across desks, making the accelerator greater than the sum of its parts. Add to that, excellent advice from investors and mentors who give their precious time to help propel the startups forward.
But what happened in week 10 of acceleration at Avatech?
“If you get the culture right, most of the other stuff like delivering great customer service or building a long-term enduring brand will just happen naturally on it’s own.” – Tony Hsieh – Our teams learned about best practices in creating a unique culture for their startups, the workshop delivered by Ghazal Shishavani of Sarava.
Our great trainer, Cathrin Leßlhumer from Austria had an amazing workshop about effective time management, get to know tools of time management, and how to deal with working under pressure.
